At Trinity Veterinary Hospital, our team culture is built on trust, empathy, and open communication with our clients and with one another. Our veterinary professionals bring a wide range of experience across preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, rehabilitation, and exotic pet medicine.

Veterinarians

Our veterinarians provide comprehensive medical care for dogs, cats, and select exotic species, combining clinical expertise with clear, collaborative communication. They work closely with pet owners to develop care plans that reflect both medical needs and family goals.

Dr. Susan Mineo was born and raised in the Western New York area. She attended Medaille College and graduated in 1997 with an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. Dr. Mineo worked as a veterinary technician while attending Canisius College, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology in 2000. Her career path took her away from home and to Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Illinois Veterinary Teaching Hospital. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in January 2004, followed by a Master’s in Business Administration in 2007.

Dr. Mineo has practiced veterinary medicine locally since 2004. In 2014, she co-founded Alliance Animal Hospital and, together with her devoted team, led the transition of the Broadway Street location in Lancaster to the new, proudly independent Trinity Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Mineo is the past president of the Pet Emergency Fund from 2006-2015 and served on the board of directors of the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and the Buffalo Academy of Veterinary Medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, the New York State Veterinary Medical Society, as well as the Western New York Veterinary Medical Society.

Dr. Mineo has a passion for all aspects of veterinary medicine. Her primary interests include small animal and exotic medicine, with a special focus on cardiology. She also enjoys the study and practice of internal medicine, oncology, and diagnostic ultrasonography.

Dr. Mineo met her husband, Michael, at Canisius College, and they reside in Buffalo with their three children, Andrew, Nora, and Anthony. The Mineo family also includes the most loved Boston Terrier, Violet. Outside of her busy work schedule, Dr. Mineo enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, skiing, and participating in a variety of outdoor activities. Dr. Mineo is deeply passionate about her profession and is committed to providing exceptional care to her patients and the families that love them. She is incredibly proud to work alongside the compassionate and dedicated team at Trinity Veterinary Hospital.

Associate Veterinarian & Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr. Kristi Mt. Pleasant brings 34 years of experience in veterinary medicine to our team and has devoted her entire career to caring for pets right here in this building. She specializes in rehabilitation therapy and acupuncture, helping pets regain comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Known for her compassionate, steady approach to care, Dr. Mt. Pleasant is deeply committed to her patients and their families. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time at the beach.

Dr. Maria Kajdasz has been part of the veterinary field for over six years and has been practicing as a veterinarian for the past year. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University after completing her bachelor’s degree in Biology at Niagara University. Dr. Kajdasz enjoys working with a variety of patients, including some exotic pets, and is committed to providing thoughtful, compassionate care. A proud Western New Yorker, she’s also a big Buffalo Bills fan – go Bills!
